Who is OLDJoy?

Cape Town-born Chef, Jonathan Phippen, has spent over 15 years immersed in the city's food scene, shaping kitchens and concepts that have become local favorites.

He's led the line as Head of Production and Development for the FYN Restaurant Group -home to the Top 100 restaurant FYN and globally recognized top-tier spots such as Ramenhead. He brought bold Greek flavors to life at Ouzeri (World's 50 Best Discovery list), and drove success for Aegir Project Brewery. With deep roots and sharp instincts, Chef JP's mission is to serve up food that challenges, comforts, and connects.
